I do a lot of photography and I share it on my deviant art page.

It’s SFW, don’t worry.

  • Went on a coffee date with someone that went quite well, we’re even making plans for a second date.

She’s also been sending pictures of some of the rocks in her collection to me, which is awesome!

She has this barely-contained-chaotic-joy about her that’s just awesome to see. We were talking intermittently for a few weeks before I got a glimpse of that joy, then we were talking quite a bit more. And then we went to get coffee which turned into lunch as well.

NGL last week was pretty great. Only the second successful date in the last 4 years for me, but I’ll take any win I can.

Slight correction about the Spongebob one: it does tell us quite a bit about his thinking.

He thinks firmly in the box no matter how he appears on the outside. Given the free opportunity to let his creativity flow he chose to simply make a derivative work that’s a near copy of another famous work. And when he receives negative feedback on it it breaks him.

Spongebob’s lack of creativity screams incredibly loudly in his version of David.

His pile of rocks from when he actually tried to be creative is a painting into his mind in a beautiful way.

Thank you for attending my TED talk

  • Last night?

A mixture of shitposts and inspirational videos in the group chat

    Last session?

They lit a vinyard/distillery on fire to deal with the undead thriving within. They forgot to secure their path to exit before starting the fire. They barely made it out the gate before the storage tanks blew up. And by “barely made it out” I mean the Barbarian got caught by the blast.

He slammed the basement door closed to prevent the blast from hitting the survivors they they found and rescued. The shock wave knocked everyone prone, except the Barbarian who was launched while still holding the door.

So everyone was fine, the Barbarian even had a hit point left… Until he landed.

One of the party members is also infected with Blue Rot though, he hasn’t figure it out yet.

  • Once you work with the public long enough you’re no longer surprised by such things.

The saying “There’s substantial overlap between the dumbest tourists and the smartest bears” is very true even though it was never said by someone in the National Parks Service.

I’ve met plenty of people who I believe would be outsmarted by the average bear let alone the smartest bears.
