The business model from Bsky: lock in as many users as possible. Sell the company with all users to an oligarch. Then the users will realize they are the business.

itsame@lemmy.worldto Technik@feddit.org•Effizienz von Solarpanelen in nördlichen Breitengraden13·20 days agoNo. That assumption is incorrect. At the equator there is little loss due to the atmosphere. Moving toward the poles, the atmosphere blocks more and more radiation.
Due to rotation of the earth, the effect becomes even stronger. And at the poles there is for a long period of the year even zero sunlight. .
Also note, the best area is not necessarily directly on the equator, because photovoltaic solar panels produce less energy at higher temperatures. Best place: a cool site, on a high mountain, somewhere in the tropics.

I’m not Canadian, not familiar with sedition laws there, but there are countries where articles like these would put you in jail immediately.
Edit: Maybe someone with legal experience can explain it using this as reference: https://www.criminalcodehelp.ca/offences/crimes-against-authority/what-is-sedition/ ?

He was accused of abusing a camera woman, who he had previously asked not to film when he comes off the stage. She did it anyway, he said something about it, she accused him, he was disqualified. He was not allowed to leave the country for a while. In the police investigation no proof surfaced. Case dismissed or it did not even come to a case. All in all it took months.

For example, you can visit the Caribbean, where you find island from Kingdom of the Netherlands, France, UK. Danish Greenland would be a good choice at this moment. France has a couple of islands on far away locations in Indian Ocean and Pacific. Further Portugal and Spain islands in the Atlantic.
And probably a lot more.
(Note that all Caribbean Island rely very much on US products)

Trumpf is a loser who avoided being drafted for the Vietnam war by having a doctor state that he had ‘bone spurs’ in his heels. The doctor later said it was a favor to daddy Trumpf who was his landlord. The bone spurs seems to have miraculously disappeared, considering some doctor claimed recently he is fully healthy.
Nowadays, Trumpf is denigrating decorated war heroes like McCain of whom he said he was “not a war hero” because he was captured during the Vietnam War, Trumpf does not like people that were captured.
