Srsly, maybe you don’t really want so snack on your nutt. Post nutt clarity is wisdom, pay mind to it.

Read another way: poor people no longer allowed to use gas, that’s only for the wealthy.
Seriously, since when does anything good start with poor people? High speed internet–nope. Better cellular coverage–hell no.
How about they “decarbonize” Beverly Hills first? I’m sure they’d be thrilled to give up their poolside fire pits and Viking ranges in the name of cleaner air. I’m sure they’d not mind it if their whole-house generators were now useless.
I believe that we need to reduce the use of fossil fuels, but this approach feels very imbalanced and makes me question the intent. At least you can still cook or have hot water during a power outage. If nothing else, why fucking remove the infrastructure?! If this is such a great thing, leave the gas lines in place and let the utilities subsidize the switch to all-electric. Also, with all energy coming from a single source, I worry that this is an attempt to remove alternatives and spike costs to the consumer by green washing the whole thing.
I’d love to see how this really helps the air quality. Until we can effectively displace and shut down natural gas power generation, it will still be a factor.

Take a group of people who grew up without the need for any technical skills, put them in a car that is wildly complex and this is what you get.
I’m no fan of overcomplicated stuff, but if you own something like this, it is your problem to educate yourself on how it works and how to deal with issues and failures or get used to being bent over any time you have to pay an adult to rescue you.
Also, I don’t own a Tesla, but I looked it up and there should be multiple warnings on the display about a failing 12v battery as well as messages via the app. I’m going to guess that they were ignored in this case.
Of course, the owner “still loves the car!” to further drive home the fact that he’s a moron.
I am 99% certain that our house is the only one in the neighborhood that doesn’t use chemlawn. Springtime is dandelion season and its great. Now the clover is in full effect. I love that the bees and bunnies are going to chow town. Gonna hit the back yard next spring with the microclover. I’d love to get the point of a monthly mow. I hate grass and mowers. If I could let it go full meadow I totally would. Mainly because I know it pisses off all the old buzzards who have nothing to do beyond sweep their driveway 3 times a day.
YEAH THAT SOUNDS FUCKING HORRIBLE, TORTURE REALLY.
I however am the rare american who is enjoying my third uninterrupted week of total freedom. This is because I was fired from my job three weeks ago. Corporate restructuring my ass.
The time is nice and I did get some severance, but there is zero enjoyment knowing that if I don’t land a job soon, I will be hard fucked. Sorry kids, we are canceling music lessons, and any other recreations until your loser unemployed parent can get work again. Wheee!
Balance requires the desire to achieve it. Keep trying, you’ll get there.
I’m old and I think they’re fucking hilarious. I think what you’re missing is the “be a moron” part.
The hell with raw doggin life.
I think of it like sunlight. In videos from space, you can see the sun without the filter of our atmosphere. It is the harshest evil white burning light you can imagine. However, because of our delightful atmosphere, we get golden hour evenings, pink sunsets, warm mornings.
Life without pills is like sunlight without atmosphere.
That, also cat and dog. I am the feeder, brusher, vet-taker. Mr. Meowmeow and Ms. Fluffy would be very sad. That won’t do at all.
Also, this was the original which was sold by the now-dead Scion brand. This could be as old as a 2012 model. I suppose at that age, throwing money at it could be well described as a financial mistake.
OK then I will bite.
How do workers and tradespeople get to these places? When their refrigerator breaks and they need a repair or a new one, are those delivered on a bike?
When someone buys a mattress, do they just helicopter them in?
When people move into these apartments how does the furniture get moved in? Movers just carry it a full city block?
How do plumbers and electricians bring their equipment in? How do tilers, roofers, people who replace windows get to these places?
How do emergency services get in here? Fire trucks just dont anymore?
I dislike traffic, congestion and poor air quality, but the idea that we don’t need roads is just silly. Manage them, dont delete them. This is the folly of the bourgeois.
I would not qualify it as easy. It is doable, but it takes a bit of time, effort and equipment. Did it twice, first time failed, second round I finally figured out my problems. Took a few months before I had anything worth keeping.
You could also just go to Denver and buy some there. I had a lovely day with a friend after eating some local chocolate and hanging out in cheeseman park. 10/10 would do again.
Good to see @[email protected] is here to offer sage advice.
Interior air quality is a problem long solved by ventilation fans. You should run them regardless of the type of cooking appliance used. Now that many homes and apartments do not have ventilation that exhausts to the outside is a different problem.
