Yeah, I am pretty sure I saw some kind of fly creep under its wing and it was itching for a bit already before I started filming.

bonjour@mander.xyzOPto Bicycle Touring and Bikepacking@lemmy.world•Buongiorno SardegnaEnglish0·4 days agoCheaper only inland i guess, those were really budget options for Olbia and Cagliari. And yes, trip over, no punctures nor any other bike maintenance done. It says something like “don’t go there with tubed tires” on BP, i guess there were a few thorny plants but i feel a bit like this is being a bit over dramatized (same for the altravesur route). TBF i did not ride them both completely, so i just might have luckily avoided the sections where i would have got punctures from all the thorns but i don’t really believe it. My rims are not made for tubeless so even if it might be possible to make it work somehow, maybe, i don’t really want to mess with it.
Stintino looks pretty great! I wanted to take a train from Cagliari to Sassari and ride around that corner of the island too, but the train is currently not going there due to construction, so i didn’t. For the rock doves, haha, apparently there is a colony around here:

Anyway Capo Caccia, that’s a rock dove spot apparently.

Also interesting that the wishes of consumers are apparently to be prioritized over those of creators.
bonjour@mander.xyzOPto Bicycle Touring and Bikepacking@lemmy.world•Buongiorno SardegnaEnglish0·4 days agoI did not stay at any agriturismo, i kept it wild (lots of great spots to be found, super easy to do) and official camping (The tip for camping Theleme in Ulassai from BP was in deed very good, very nice place and good atmosphere), took a 65€ room in Cagliari in a hotel, although there would have been cheaper b&b options but they didn’t get back to me quick enough, in Olbia i paid 55 for a really nice b&b, b&b terranova (it said and still says 70€ on google maps, but it was 55). So i guess b&b is what you want to look for, they all had shared bathrooms, but only a couple rooms, so really no big deal. All had a place for the bike too.
At the highest point of the BP route
bonjour@mander.xyzto Fedigrow@lemmy.zip•Content jacking/reposting is a problem on Lemmy.English0·5 days agoI guess, in some scenarios, but that is not what i was talking about here really. Also “even if asked to please stop it”.
bonjour@mander.xyzto Fedigrow@lemmy.zip•Content jacking/reposting is a problem on Lemmy.English0·5 days agoAre you ok? What does the PSA i posted to do with any of this?
Maybe a better context would be this:

bonjour@mander.xyzto Fedigrow@lemmy.zip•Content jacking/reposting is a problem on Lemmy.English0·5 days agoThey are reposting, within minutes, the original content other users provide, with the intention to reduce the interaction they might be getting, even if asked to please stop it. How is that ok, honestly i don’t get how you guys can think that way?
I have never spent time in a social media setting where people like this were tolerated.
bonjour@mander.xyzto Fedigrow@lemmy.zip•Content jacking/reposting is a problem on Lemmy.English0·5 days agoThat was a joke, i have not seriously accused them of anything.
bonjour@mander.xyzto Fedigrow@lemmy.zip•Content jacking/reposting is a problem on Lemmy.English0·5 days agoAs a victim of yours, i can say it feels a lot like stalking. Not to mention your avatar, which is directly aimed at me because i dared to complain about you reposting everything i post to [email protected], within minutes, with the goal to reduce any interaction i might be getting.

bonjour@mander.xyzto Photography@lemmy.ml•Public Toilet [Bessa R3M, Summarit-M 50mm f/2.5, Kodak Tri-X 400]3·6 days agoNice one! Yeah they got some really cool restrooms spread around Norway.
I would want to recommend to see if there’s not some community lab somewhere around you, chemicals are bit messy and many of them are not that long lasting either and then it may be a bit risky to still use it. I think it makes a lot of sense to share this stuff.
I was using diafine developer at home, because it has a long shelf life (rodinal too) and it pushes the films quite a bit, I was keen to be able to shoot fast shutter speeds. Also is quite fool proof. Now I am a member of some maker space kinda thing with a photo lab, have yet to use it though, really went digital in the last … decade really 😅 But I want to make use of it soon.
What a fluffy cute little fella.
But they are not scared of you, just the metro? Really cool.
Thanks, that makes sense I guess. Those are some really cool names for the crows! Stash. I watch the crows in my yard stash stuff too, I thought they might be the ones who stashed peanuts in my flower pots, but now i suspect it’s the jays.
bonjour@mander.xyzto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What was your favorite experience as a tourist?3·6 days agoThank you for the great story. Your dog must still be dreaming of those sheep, haha.
Also love seeing the shepherd dogs at work, very professional.
Haha, sounds real good. How many are they who follow you around, do they follow all together or do they have their sections? And can you tell (some of) them apart?
I tried to attract some crows to my balcony, but they seem real shy. I know they pick up peanuts at some other place in the yard. The daily peanut I lay out was only once collected by a crow (that I saw), then the jay took over.
bonjour@mander.xyzto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What grocery items are always worth the extra $1-$5?3·7 days agoYes, very much worth it, can make a big difference. Even though i turned to buy my local store’s brand, I saw that they were rated very highly in a canned tomatoes test and they really taste good.
