I’m glad that you don’t think it was the VPN so now I don’t need to be as paranoid about keeping it connected.
Yeah that’s fair. People do this on the internet all the time and I never understood why. Like if you know you’re in the wrong there’s no point in voluntarily making a post on the internet insinuating otherwise.
If I was ban evading the account would be banned not limited. Jesus are people that jaded that it must be “just me lying”? Why would I even make a thread about it if I knew I was at fault. That doesn’t even make any sense.
Also if you’re insinuating a did something to break TOS my account is 100% clean. I am not an internet asshole. It is possible that Discord is just a crappy company.
Yes, it was for just using a VPN.
I sent them an email with an appeal and this was their reply. I sent another reply stating that I merely logged in without turning off my VPN; they never replied and kept the rate limit active. Garbage company. Did I mention I PAY for nitro?
0·6 months agoProton is the best privacy focused product suite out there. One of the few subscriptions I will happily pay. 500gb cloud with auto photo backup, encrypted email, password manager, encrypted calendar, and full featured VPN.
Once Google One stated they’re dropping the VPN and not changing the price to reflect dropping a service I started degoogling. Proton allowed that transition with ease offering nearly everything I needed in one product suite.
