I think it’s most evident when you do something like search “(venue name) Events”
Where you would normally get the venues events page as a top hit, Google tries to get you to get that info without ever visiting their page via a card.
Not if contributing to actual research, for which they applied for govt grants (and received) contributes to a tax write-off.
They have the means.
They did it for Portal 2!
I am also capable of registering a company, though. Dig further. You’ll find that they indeed secured a grant. But again, all this takes is a reasonable application for that grant as a part of a budget for a viral marketing campaign. I want to reiterate that this is absolutely within the means of valves resources.
This is what viral marketing campaigns do.
I WANT TO BELIEVE

9 ALFRED CIRCLE BEDFORD, MA 01730 USA
The domain was previously owned by the people who did the half-life remake.
My thought is that Valve poached them.
Says them?
Their address is a house.
I mean that’s basically the backstory of black mesa in the half life world.
Again, is completely within Valves resources to set up a biotech company for a viral marketing campaign.
Like a kid in 2000 desperately hoping that box under the tree is a PS2, I really think that we might be about to see news of something I dare not say. But if it’s nothing, I’m going to be really disappointed. Sigh.
That’s gotta be a kick in the balls to trumps campaign right?
That is what Thor implied in the stream I’m scanning for it so I can link it. I found this quickly but struggling to find the thing In referring to.
I mean it’s both, that dude has a voice pretty close to what you’d want a programmer named Thor to sound like. He runs a ferret rescue. He used to be Red Team for DoD and would Penntest nuclear power facilities, and now runs a gaming studio. Very interesting dude.
Edit: His father is the WoW guy from South Park. And If you ever got banned from World of Warcraft for cheating, it was Thor’s team that probably caught you.
PirateSoftware’s CEO, Thor, once saidnl in a stream how national security relies on furry conventions flights making it to and from conventions safely, and that there is nearly no bigger single point of failure on our security infrastructure. Those planes go down and we have a serious problem.
I think he’s right.
Holy shit the NSA, FBI and CIA will finallyl get competent, weed smoking engineers.
Lmao.
DISH bought the town of Clark, TX’s name. Paid for 10 years of cable for all 437 residents in exchange for… Map advertising. Clark TX became, and still is, “DISH, TX” (yes, all caps).
Not only did they lose their free cable in 2015, but now they’re named after a company that was never good enough to last the test of time.
It’d be like going to work at NYNEX stadium or something equally absurd.
Love it.
“The terrorists hate our freedom…”
Also, massive security surfaces.
Any music producer is familiar with 3rd party license managers like ilok that make you use their Shit-ass electron application that gets an update once every few years.
It depicts a vial of XEN CRYSTALS from Dr. ______.
This is 100% marketing an extension of the half-life universe
Going this all out? I wanna say it…
