I’m so glad. There are some terrifying drivers out there.
Chair tax when you’re done please 🙏
4 interviews in one day is full on! Good luck with the rest, and tomorrow’s meeting.
I’m grateful that I can drive with reasonable ease. I was in a major accident last year (hit by a semi trailer at high speed) and my car was squished. I somehow walked away with only minor injuries and I was back driving quickly, and I’ve made myself drive regularly, but it’s only in the last few weeks that it’s started to feel normal rather than something super stressful. Healing.
What are your favourite soups to make? I need a bit of variety.
I bought some jonquils yesterday and they’re like little patches of sunshine throughout the house, brightening my mood. I’m also grateful for lazy Sundays, crosswords, tea, and blankets.
Happy birthday! Hope you’ve heard from your dad by now.
It was a whole UN Year Of a few years back! So I assumed they had a day for it too. But no.
Is it lazing around, or resting? Make sure you’re getting enough recovery time. Everything’s always busy but that’s not always great for our bodies or brains.
The Kapiti triple choc ice cream from Aldi is delicious. And so rich you don’t need very much to hit the spot.
Lots of eggs at my greengrocer. Try outside Colesworth?
Aww, what a sad little face.
I am grateful for chocolate, and warm socks. And painkillers.
I haven’t tried them, but Huffer are having a 50% off sale on their puffer jackets right now and I’m eyeing it off. I’ve heard a few people rave. They’re around $500 full price, so a sale is worthwhile.
It’s quite cold enough here, but apparently Tassie’s getting -12 and frozen lakes. No thanks! https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-07-03/liawenee-tasmania-lakes-freeze-over-coldest-july/104051742
Creamed honey is so delicious.
So glad there are cats.
As evil as Amazon is I’ve discovered that they do some wet pet foods in bulk considerably cheaper than Colesworth, it might be worth a check.
