Personally, I believe LISA is a more honest The Last of Us, while also keeping most of the bad from that series - including having a pretty shitty creator

I’ve only experienced Lisa the Painful and the Joyful so I wouldn’t know which of the other alternatives are better (after experiencing the 2 I had to take a break, those games are emotionally and mentally draining)
