    Come to Brazil!

    Joking, but also not that much. If you work remotely for some American company and choose your city well, chances are you’ll probably be making enough money to be able to ignore all of Brazil’s problems. $60k per year should be more than enough for that.

      Does Brazil have easy immigration laws? I’ve never looked into it to be honest.

        I’m not completely sure but I think it depends on your country of origin. The harder your country makes it for Brazilians who want to live there, the harder (relatively) it will be for you to get a visa here. But if you have an income already I think you can apply for a retirement visa which shouldn’t have too many requirements.

        That number is to live a carefree life. If you make $10k yearly you’re already better off than most here.
