Violet sits at a table filled with baking utensil and a plate of pie. She says,“If Charlie Brown doesn’t eat this mud pie, I’ll never make him another one!”

She walks up to Charlie Brown with the plate in hand and says,“Here, Charlie Brown, I made this especially for you…” He is sitting on the floor playing with his toy-boat and looks back at the pie.

As he walks off, she asks,“Where are you going? Aren’t you going to eat this mud pie?”

He stops and replies,“Sure, I just thought I’d better wash my hands first!”
