At the start of every summer, I rediscover grape soda and I’m like “holy shit this stuff is great”. And then about 7 cans into the case I remember why I stopped drinking it. It’s kind of funny that it’s only ever available in the store brand, never in a “real” brand.
I feel the same but with soda in general unless it’s one of the real sugar sodas. I do actually like sodas a lot, but only for special occasions. I used to live within walking distance of a Rocket Fizz and would get a couple bottles once or twice a month. They had a punch card, but I wouldn’t get punches very fast even though I was really close.
