I’m assuming it’s purple shirt guy.
Edit:
idk if it helps but the new version of the show is called “wear whatever the F you want”, and it seems to be more about helping people realize and embrace a personal style, rather than making fun of the way they dress.
in the trailer they help the purple shirt guy embrace the punk-rock vibe he’s always wanted
Damn, maybe that is me.
for what it’s worth he comes across as a very sweet and endearing character
This seems like the best outcome.
Aw that’s a nice change of pace from the usual “Let me help you conform you weirdo dipshit” format.
send a pic of a dog drinking out of the toilet and be like “this is u & ur media choices”
Same answer but instead of dog it’s pigpoopballs
fashion is just capitalism and social hierarchy worn on the body
Currently, yeah mostly, but not in our Communist future. Fashion is an excellent mode of self expression that won’t go away when capitalism does
I think there’s some important context that is needed here:
A) does the purple shirt guy look like you? All you can tell about his clothing is he’s wearing an untucked t-shirt. Do you have long hair you wear in a part, a big beard and thick rimmed glasses? If so maybe the fact this is a fashion show is unrelated and she just saw someone who reminded her of you and this is a nice message.
B) if not, do you regularly tease each other? If so this is also a nice message where she’s teasing you about still grooming like a 00s hipster.
C) if neither of the above, then it’s B but it’s no longer a nice message and you should respond like @[email protected] suggested
I have long hair and I have a denim jacket with metal/punk patches and I do wear generally colourful clothes and t-shirts and stuff.
We see and talk pretty regularly. She definitely doesn’t hate me, but also since she didn’t elaborate beyond this or say “he’s into metal/punk” or anything it’s weird to just say this and then not elaborate.
She also calls implies I’m overweight it sometimes and it annoys me, which I feel like is maybe part of this but IDK. She also generally does that thing of totally stonewalling me/family if anything stressful comes up so if I ask I have a feeling she’d just ignore it.
An endearing ribbing.
wtf are stacy london and clinton kelly still doing what not to wear
hey look at this guy he’s you
I need to clarify I’m trying to be insulting towards you
I’m pointing out a thing that’s bad
maybe I win most autistic but I would just ghost her
Do you just regularly insult each other or is this a one way street? If you did that to her would it start a fight? If you take offense to her doing it to you does it start a fight? Are you wrong either way?
Maybe I’m projecting here but all I would want would be to distance myself from this. But then again I had one of my parents tell me to my face they were consciously and deliberately abusive and this just kinda reminds me of the tone of the free shots they would take at me.
Probably amused.
Yeah, if she’s not making fun of how OP is dressing, I’d assume amused. I guess she’s saying they look similar.
The fact she pointed out “what not to wear” was the show makes me think she was sending a not too subtle message lol
That’s the part that’s sticking for me, too, though. I’d have a hard time not being offended.
Dunno, try replying “your mum is literally you” to hide your confusion.
- Slightly autistic, good at masking
If you have a good relationship with her then I guess it’s just her poking fun at you, but also giving a not too subtle hint maybe you wear clothes too tight or “unprofessional?”
Although lady in the middle is wearing my grandmother’s table cloth so… Who knows lol
They tried their best with me, sticking to the look though 😤
Tell her autism is genetic and her special interest is fashion
It’s a joke on that you wear what not to wear. It’s in good fun.
But also maybe watch. Fashion can be hella interesting.
How’d he end the show looking?
Apparently, racing stripes are in this season.
Is that Clinton? Or a 2007 Mustang? Hard to tell from here.
