Haven’t you tankies considered that locally manufacturing bombs to murder brown children isn’t perfect but it’s good enough?

Obviously this is banality of evil stuff, but I also hate the way these people torture the language (usually still erroneously) to try and find a justification for something they know there is no moral justification for.
Take this example. The have to eliminate any and all other possibilities to justify it, so they reach for ‘don’t let perfect be the enemy of good’ because it’s binary. Except of course it’s not. It’s a phrase only looking at the extreme end of effort. Besides which, funding ‘local’ manufacturers in order to bomb children could never be described as ‘good’ in the first place. Even rhetorically (never mind knowing anything about how those ‘local’ arm manufacturers actually work - hint: they’re extractive & global) it doesn’t work.
Fuck these smug assholes. Just say you’re a fascist and stop wasting all of our time.
Don’t let good be the enemy of the bad!
Exactly.
You don’t talk to enough libs, silly leftist.
See, if bombing brown kids has no moral weight or little moral weight, say -1 on the perfect western morality chart, and local manufacturing has a 2 on that scale, that means when to combine their moral value its 2-1=1 which compared to the situation of using other peoples bombs to brown kids is 0-1=-1, thus as you see, bombing brown kids with glorious eurobombs is good in comparison!
I will take my Nobel Peace Prize and my media tour now and remember to
for me in my next election
These people really be like
Wow so you hate local business owners? You know most of them are Jewish? Are you antisemitic? Does Israel have the right to exist? DO YOU CONDOM HUMMUS?!
yep
Me too, I’d rather work for a big corporation than most small businesses. The worst exploitation happens in all the shitty local bars/restaurants, construction, agriculture, etc. The dude running the local plumbing business is probably doing more fucked up shit to his employees than Walmart.
This isn’t even sarcasm. Obviously the scale is worse for big companies and they contribute exponentially more to global problems, but God damn I’ve never been mistreated more than working for the local real estate investor who also owns a restaurant
haha
