Just a general thread about running. How’s your running going? What are you training for? Did you get new shoes? Sporting an injury etc…

      First thing I would suggest is to be kind to yourself and forgive yourself, and then… baby steps. Not only do baby steps eventually compound but they prevent any over training from holding yourself to old expectations.

      Same thing happened to me, and I’m still a shit-show (my current cap is about a 3k). The running won’t happen if you don’t make it happen; don’t let your brain win, it’s working against you. Get out there ans show it who’s boss.

      Sometimes the act of just putting on my shoes (without giving it much more thought) would get me over that hump. And like others said, baby steps. Start with just around the block or down the street/road and back.
