At this point I am using the voice of Wolf from The great north when he does the actual voice. I don’t remember how it actually sounds.

Jessica from Dune encourages her son Paul to use “the voice” which is some future space wizardry that allows him to control others.

In this case, the voice that Americans (probably mostly millennials) think of when someone says “my wife” is the voice of Borat, who develops an obsession with Pamela Anderson from a Baywatch poster and refers to her as his wife.

Even worse they say “the wife.” I’ve met a few of those. Could not believe they actually talk that way.

Up there with people who use “female” far too much. Especially “females.”

I only recently learned that Borat unintentionally did the human race a favor by causing Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock’s divorce.

You made me look it up and holy fuck is this a dick move:

The couple, who married just four months ago, reportedly got into an explosive argument at Universal studio chief Ron Meyer’s house two weeks ago. Meyer screened Borat for Rock, Anderson, and several others, and Rock considered Anderson’s performance, of which he apparently knew nothing whatsoever, so embarrassing and infuriating that he reputedly called her a “slut” and a “whore.” Since then, relations between the two have gone from bad to worse, and Anderson announced that the split was for real on her website Monday (Nov. 27).

I figured kid rock just had a dumb sense of humor and thought it was funny to repeatedly call her “my wife,” but apparently he preferred slut shaming her. I’m also confused about how you marry Pamela Anderson without being cool with her doing sexy things on camera.

That said, it’s nearly twenty years ago and was initially reported by the New York Post, so take it with a grain of salt.

It worked out better for her. Seems that she’s grown beyond a sex symbol and enjoying her life

I don’t think being a sex symbol is something you need to grow out of, but you absolutely need to grow out of relationships where you get slut shamed and I’m glad she did.

Well, yeah, she’s supposed to be an absolute smokeshow so people know he’s won (and are jealous of him) for marrying her. But she shouldn’t “show” anything because that’s for him only.

Be a sex icon, but chastely.

At my job, I quite often see “Monday, Wednesday, Friday” abbreviated to MWF.

I read it in the voice once. It has proven to be the gift that never stopped giving.

Can you give me some examples, because from the wikipedia page it looks like he donated for lots of charities and is/was pro-vaccines, the worst that I found was that he called for the release of all hostages taken by Hamas.

“Morality is the wisest policy”. Shimon Peres was one of the world’s great optimists. A man who fought for peace and very nearly achieved it.

Peres was part of the governments that established the first illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian West Bank following the 1967 war that have swallowed so much of Palestinian land, and he was against giving up any of the conquered territory throughout the 1970s. In 1982, he initially supported the war against the Palestinian Liberation Organization in Lebanon led by the then Israeli prime minister Menachem Begin. The Israeli invasion later resulted in the massacre of hundreds of Palestinian refugees at the camps of Sabra and Shatila in Beirut. But Lebanon did not see the last of Peres. In 1996, as prime minister of Israel, he presided over the disastrous Israeli attack on a U.N. base at Qana, which killed 106 civilians sheltering there.

He’s also close friend of Lee Kern, writer and another Islamophobic Zionist.

Not to mention his ridiculous portrayal of Muslims as backward racists in Borat.

He has also never once criticised Israel for how they have historically and are currently killed Palestinians.

              Edit

Forgot to mention how he portrayed a Palestinian NGO worker as terrorist.

Of all the Israeli politicians, Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin also got closest to an actual peace. Being positive about Peres doesn’t make SBC a Zionist, it makes him naive at worst.
