Doing more writing by hand lately and was looking at some new ink. Now I’ve got to find other achivist ink cause I’m sure as hell not giving money to someone who dogwhistles about “western civilisation” and brands with that racist’s flag from the usa.
Sigh. I just liked the green.
Found this out after I bought a giant bottle of Heart of Darkness years ago
I’ll finish the bottle but it sucks because so many inks have an ingredient im allergic to (that one doesnt) and ink companies will outright ignore my emails about their ingredients so I have to buy samples to see if i can even use it
Wish I had a brand I knew was safe for me
What pen do you use?
I used to use a lammy safari, it was ok. At some point the nib fell out and got lost and replacements are stupid expensive.
Tried a pilot and fount it scratchy and leaky. Got annoyed.
Bowed to the cultural and technical superiority of Chinese engineers and bought an asvine v126 recently after getting the shits with the pilot’s cap filling with ink again. By far both the cheapest and best pen I’ve used.
Only negative is that the feed rate is a little slow for really fast writing or sketching, but also it doesn’t blast your page or drip/leak when throwing a bag around so swings and roundabouts.
