Noodlers ink btw.

Doing more writing by hand lately and was looking at some new ink. Now I’ve got to find other achivist ink cause I’m sure as hell not giving money to someone who dogwhistles about “western civilisation” and brands with that racist’s flag from the usa.

Sigh. I just liked the green.

As someone not Into Fountain Pens, it does kinda check out that there would be some significant overlap between the writing-like-a-victorian-aristocrat community and holding reactionary views.

You know how pens didn’t replace pencils? like they’re still useful because they write different. It’s just that.

Fountain pens are actually pretty modern, they were used till ~1970. You might be thinking of dip pens. They are attractive to use since you don’t need to put pressure on the page, unlike a biro, so if you’re prone to hand strain they are more comfortable. They can also be cheap, like 5 bucks.

1970 was over 50 years ago.

I don’t think I’ve used a pen of any kind in years. What little hand writing I do is either with a 0.3mm mechanical pencil or a stylus into Xournal++.
