So you won’t take the opportunity to organize people against the current government they oppose along revolutionary lines because of what you think they would do in an alternate timeline?

It’s not even an alternate timeline; in this timeline the same people are libs who supported the invasion of Iraq and the overthrow of Gaddafi, especially the Libya situation too because Gaddafi was overthrown by Obama, and God forbid they should criticize him for anything. When Trump was managing the border concentration camps these same people were more than happy to come out against him and then the moment Biden won the election, these people were appeased because now that the right person was in charge, peace had been restored (except of course for the concentration camp inmates who were still in there). These same people had been salivating at the thought of violent regime change in Iran all the way up until Trump won the election.

Ok so everyone is either a baying-for-blood imperialist liberal or a revolutionary communist. There are obviously more of the former, so let’s give up. Certainly there’s nobody whose politics are weird or muddy or undefined or undergoing changes in response to shifting material conditions. There’s no point trying to organize any people in a huge crowd spontaneously opposing the newest imperialist venture, because I am sure that every single one of them is a hardened DNC operative, at Bernie’s rally to perform a grand show of sheepdogging (which doesn’t actually happen, because there are no people who aren’t already either baying-for-blood imperialist liberals or revolutionary communists).

Maybe I’m being too pessimistic and should be ignored, but I genuinely have no faith in such people. All the libs I know who are now anti-war and pro-Palestine were defending Biden before the last election and supported Kamala, defending her even when I tried telling them she should be publicly criticized for supporting Israel and openly talking about building a wall. There ARE people whose opinions are changing, but not only are they few, but honestly I genuinely believe many of them will simply snap back to their former views the moment a democrat wins.

Maybe I’m being far too pessimistic, but I genuinely have no hope in these people or seeing America become better in my lifetime.
