Separate from the article, he’s also refusing to extend voter registration deadlines because of the storm unlike South Carolina. Today is still unfortunately Florida’s voter registration deadline, make sure to register: https://vote.gov/register

“seemed political" but at the same time, refuses to take the call.

How do you know the call is political if you refuse to take it?

After all, she’s the vice president, not just a political candidate. Organizations like FEMA are part of the executive branch. Your state is and is about to be a disaster site (again). Just pick up the phone, dude.

He’s also not spoken to the president either who has attempted to call as well. Biden is not even running for president anymore

There is literally no political downside for him. He scores points with the deplorables by ignoring the federal government, and he knows the Dems would never refuse to send aid so he doesn’t have to ask for it. Also he can’t run for re-election and he got trounced for the GOP ticket by failing to out-Trump Trump, so there’s literally nothing on the line for him by being a petty little dick.

Well, see… The president he supports withholds funding unless the municipalities affected by disasters pass a purity test, so he assumes the president he doesn’t support will as well.
