It really made me see things differently. But also feel a little hopeless that we will probably never have a fair system. There’s too much money keeping the crappy system alive.
Even little old me? I should start going to church and also start being evil.
I choose a loving, varying therapist.
We got Hillary anyway though.
When I think about this, I always remember this CGP Grey video that discussed this concept. It makes so much more sense than the way we do it. Also, removing a politician for not living up to expectations shouldn’t be the end of the world for the party. Instead it should be a way to the party to earn respect.

True, I definitely think most religious people don’t think too much about what they’re believing in.
We should elect parties, not people. I’m sure it would cause other issues, but it would also solve the issue of being unsatisfied with the senator. Recall him right now and we have to have another election. I don’t trust PA to make the right decision.
I think this dude is incapable of dissociating, so he just forces his true value system onto his church beliefs. He will ignore the text that contradicts his own values. There’s definitely lots of people like that.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Christians that vote republic just dissociate their “church” brain vs their non “church” brain. Their religious beliefs ONLY apply to religious things. Everything else just goes to whatever their true value system is.
Do they wonder what men are thinking? Or do they know exactly what they are thinking and it’s the worst case scenario every time?
I’m not sure that I want an Iraq war movie. But civil war was one of my favorite movies in recent years.

I blame social media. Though not specific social medias like Facebook or twitter, but the general concept of social media. I think people in general are easily manipulated in a social level (not just Americans, but everybody). But social media allows this to happen en mass and personalized to every single person. With minimal effort.
It’s almost like social media was designed specifically to enable fascist agendas.
Remember when he humble bragged classified intel in the Oval Office to foreign leaders? I remember, but apparently the world has forgotten.
Pancake sized burgers. Yes.
Insider trading. They’ll use coins that they and their billionaire buddies are already heavily invested in.
I disagree. Democrats had the presidency, the house and the senate (filibuster proof). They chose a republican friendly solution that was just a bandaid on a broken system.
All it did was piss off republicans and give them a rallying point while doing nothing to encourage democrats to vote.
They should have had the balls to create a system that actually fixed the problems, but they didn’t.
This was a gift given to the Atlantic, though. I guess you gotta milk it for what it’s worth.
