What is funny is that is how you are suppose to ship crickets and anyone who has bought large amounts of crickets knows that.
Source: Have recieved many shipments of crickets in a box.
What do you do with crickets?
You feed them to things like frogs, spiders, etc.
How is one meant to contain the crickets while opening the box?
Typically you have a place to contain the crickets until you feed the crickets to something, you open the box over the container and dump them in.
Why can’t they be placed inside a slightly smaller box within the bigger one?
Because it’d be the same when you open the slightly smaller box so that’s why it should be shipped in a small box inside of a slightly bigger box inside of another slightly bigger box to solve that problem.
Presumably they would write “WARNING OPENING THIS BOX WILL RELEASE HUNDREDS OF CRICKETS” on it
Just throw a ‘c’ on it so people know.
