old.reddit.com is still the only usable way to use Reddit. Whenever I find something in a web search that leads to Reddit, the majority of the content on the page is hidden unless I change the URL to old.reddit.com.
The fact that they’ve conditioned the majority of users to prefer the new site means it’s not the place for me anymore.

There’s a browser addon for that, btw! https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/old-reddit-redirect
doesn’t RES do that anyway?
Maybe there’s an option somewhere, but at least back when I installed Old Reddit Redirect, it either didn’t exist, didn’t work or I didn’t find it.
It’s the only way to browse some subs without logging in nowadays.
