I like my parts to fit toolessly when I’m done, so I use my router to dovetail the joints and secure them with gorilla glue in case the joints expand.

Oh god I just realized those white dots between the CPU and the cooler are probably those adhesive Velcro dots.
If you hole punch the CPU to get it to fit, you don’t have to worry about it overheating…
