Make America Great Again, they never said for whom.

While this administration justified its urgency for punishing tariffs on Canada and Mexico due to a fentanyl crisis taking life of thousands of good Americans, the same administration is about to take life of hundreds of thousands of good Americans itself to make billionaires wealthier.

On the DemocracyNOW broadcast today they called it social murder. I think that’s more accurate.

“Theft” implies a transfer of wealth, but that’s not how government funding works. They aren’t taking money from the poor to give it to the rich, they are just taking money from the poor because they want them to die.

That genocide you are referring to has only gotten worse under this regime, not sure why you are patting yourself on the back so hard for retaining your moral high ground while fucking over our nation too.

        Kinda fuck you honestly.

You didn’t protest evil, you stepped aside and said, “I’m ok if the world gets more evil”. Your “protest” did nothing to stop or reduce the genocide, it’s gotten worse. You’ve made it less safe for people who actually want to protest the genocide. Your only action was that you feel moral superiority in your own mind.

Yep. Now protesters are being deported. I believe that everyone who sat this out over that issue has blood on their hands and I don’t care if it hurts their feelings to hear it.

We went from having a chance to having no chance.

Their inaction isn’t entirely the reason, but a lot more people are going to be suffering than otherwise would have, all around the world.

The cuts to medical aid around the world, children going hungry, etc. Who knows, we might even get another pandemic. Wouldn’t that be rad?!

And you’re goddamn right. They ate propaganda and now get to feel good about doing nothing in their own minds.

Biden enacted plenty of progressive asks during his term. Harris outlined plenty of progressive asks in her campaign as well.

The percentage of people who don’t vote hasn’t changed much in 100 years. Call them lazy, uneducated, apathetic, etc, it makes no difference. They don’t vote and that’s all there is to be said about it. If you’re waiting around for them to start voting for your preferred candidate you’re going to be waiting for the rest of your life. Stop talking about them and start making other plans.

He personally ensured Israel had the bombs and international legal protection necessary to murder all those children. He did everything he could to guarantee those children died in twisted shieking agony. In fact, many of them did burn to death and he his personally responsible for cooking them alive.

Let me put it this way: I don’t feel like I deserve to live anymore for my role in the genocide.

How many billions of dollars in student loan debt did Biden cancel? How much more would have been cancelled if the supreme court didn’t act in a blatantly partisan manner?

Yeah, I do hold them responsible. Shumer shouldn’t be in leadership and AOC should be on every high profile committee there is.

Not voting solves nothing. You know how you get more progressive legislation passed? By voting for the party that has progressives in it. That’s how. More democrats means more people like AOC. It doesn’t fucking matter if your personal rep is a god damned blue dog if it means there’s one less republican in congress.

Is that really something you think anyone here will care about? whether you “have empathy” for them? You have a wildly overinflated ego buddy. Have empathy, dont have it-- it doesnt matter to anyone. But if you could be less tedious and noisy we’d all appreciate that. Why dont you try that angle? If you hire a marketing company to advertise your product and their campaign spectacularly fails even though your product is obviously much better for consumers than everything else, would you be mad at the consumers for not understanding how your technology works or would you be mad at the marketing company for doing a very bad job at convincing the public of your very obviously much better solution?

Like do you see how this is kind of like refusing to be angry at a fire department that just stood in front of your house while it burned down because technically they weren’t the ones that started the fire and then getting angry at people who are getting angry at the fire department on your behalf because you’re wondering why they’re not angry at arsonists instead? Have you considered that like you can be angry at a lot of different people all at the same time for a lot of good reasons and that being angry at a corporation though isn’t going to change anything but being angry at the Democrats might change the Democrats, so long people don’t literally resist trying to improve the Democratic Party and make it more effective at convincing people to vote against fascism

That’s the same number it’s been for 100 years. You’re never going to change that by pointing it out so what is the goal of this conversation?

That is the kind of aggressive apatheist mentality which got the US into this situation in the first place.

No, voter suppression and the two party system are what got us in this situation.

We don’t have such low voter participation because of vibes. It’s structural.

That’s the usual reality of voting though. It doesn’t mean every American wanted it, but it still means America voted for this.

That’s the reality of America’s FPTP system.

If you did not vote for Harris, then you helped (directly or indirectly) Trump get elected.

Never going to happen. Americans are pathetic creatures who would rather blame others than ever act.

Lol the country has gone through two wars based around revolting… It can and will happen. Definitely not with this tho… You need people pissed off. Right now, we have some people pissed while a whooole lot of other people are not only happy with what’s happening, but in a state of pure ecstasy.

And too tired trying to make it paycheck to paycheck to care for their family so they bury their head in the sand.

You guys literally wouldn’t vote for someone who stood against this, and had many progressive policy goals.

You think you guys who sat at home are gonna pick up guns and fight? Lol.

The appetite isn’t there, and won’t be until straight white men are facing serious consequences of their collective inaction and apathy. But that won’t happen until all minorities are “taken care of” by the fascists. It will all be too little, too late as well.

Harris and Biden hemorrhaged votes from almost every single demographic. They lost everyone. But its everyones fault but theirs? Thats just childish if you think that.
