        I still don’t understand how that exchange didn’t end his political career. He had said a lot of stupid shit up to that point, but that was when I distinctly remember thinking “this guy is like a 4 year old child who’s been caught red-handed.”

    I don’t think so. I don’t think Trump has any allegiances to anyone but himself. He’ll only go along with what Putin wants so long as it serves Trump. That’s awful, of course, but he’s not a puppet.

      You’re very wrong.

      That’s fine, I’m just saying, his connections and the naked influencing are very well documented. How Much he’s a puppet in terms of what he may or may not “believe” versus what he’s told to do is a question. But that he is - for various political topics - directed, there’s no doubt.
