Wow, still on the same dishonest spam. Care to get new material since you’ve already been called out in every manner for this garbage?

If by called out you mean “given terrible counter arguments”, sure, we’ve been here before.

Keep on taking pride in making the problem worse, and you’ll keep on getting people pointing out the stupidity of our choice to allow the gun problem to continue.

FFS Pizza, Momo, you don’t need to reply.

And for the record, that original quote is based on stats that includes 19 year olds but doesn’t include infants. It’s stat massaging at it’s worst. It is dishonest, and it feels like spam at this point, though I think that’s the first time you in particular have used that particular quote. (Correct me if I’m wrong)

I know I’m probably too lenient but can we please just get along? Just give an argument or something instead of just namecalling.

What’s the point. We’re already long past that. Pizza has been given every argument and even just the raw facts themselves, and still comes out spouting off the same pile of garbage propaganda and lies.

So your saying that year after year, statistics keep saying that we have a higher rate of gun deaths than all other developed countries. But those statistics must be wrong because what? Fox news doesn’t agree? The NRA told you differently? Is it because glorious leader Donald told you that the commies will get you if you don’t have a gun? Get out of your bubble and learn some critical thinking skills. The fact of the matter is, the statistics say what they do because they are true and reflective of reality, not the made up magical world you apparently live in.
I’m not even an anti-gun person, I own a decent little collection, I’ve even built a couple guns from scratch. But if we allow anyone off the street, with zero training or even basic understanding of gun safety we’re going to keep seeing thousands of innocents die, either to malicious actions by mentally unstable mass shooter or to plain old accidents. How many times have we all seen stories of a child finding an irresponsible parents gun and killing someone accidentally? The fact of the matter is that if someone is 100% against any form of gun control, then they are definitely the kind of brain dead moron that should be banned from ever owning a gun.

What in the actual fuck is going on in Kentucky? First I read that they want to fuck their first cousins and now this. I think Kentucky needs an intervention.

In all seriousness, there are some 30 year olds I don’t think are adults yet. Why is it such a weird idea that people are ready for different levels of responsibility at different times? Being able to drink doesn’t make your an adult, being able to carry a gun doesn’t either. Neither does driving. They don’t all need to "unlock"at the same time like a video game or something.

Because at 18 you can be drafted, you can sign a loan and a plethora of other things. If you can be sent overseas to kill someone, you can have a beer in my opinion.

Honestly? We can debate each separately. We don’t need a single magic number that we try to apply to all circumstances.

I don’t object to the specific number, I object to making it match a different number as the reason.

Heck, there are probably a lot of 16 year olds that are mature enough to responsibly handle a firearm, that doesn’t mean we should change all the age requirements for everything to 16 either.

Are you in favor a system where tests are administered to verify that people are competent enough to do adult things or do you think different ages for different things is appropriate?

I think it depends on the thing. I don’t want us to say anyone can fly a plane without a license just because they are old enough and I also think that a some kind of test to see if someone is responsible enough to drink would be stupid when age is good enough for that.

A pilots license and drivers license both have age and competency requirements. However anyone can fly an ultralight at any age.

How about liability? Signing contracts? Voting?
